Julian (JB) Burns
Julian (JB) Burns is a retired Army Major General, USA, with service in Europe, the Balkans, the Caribbean, Korea, Israel, Iraq, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia and in the homeland defense of the Continental USA. He commanded at every level from Armored Cavalry platoon through a Joint Task Force in defense of Israel in 1998-99 and he commanded the last US Brigade on the Korean DMZ, Retiring as Deputy Commanding General FORSCOM he provided the homeland defense of USA after 9-11; and he has been Vice President of BAE overseeing development of combat systems for the Army, Navy and Marine Corps. Presently, he is returned to his Home in SC, as Chairman of Kershaw County, as advisor on a range of US Combat systems, and as a SC tree farmer . He is married to his fightin’ Texas Aggie Ruth Ann with 3 daughters and the world's four best grand kids. He is a published author on national security, avid hunter, angler and tennis player. He is outspoken on Veterans issues and a member of the local American Legion and VFW in Kershaw County.
